| Across the country, disposable medical devices are being recycled and used on other patients without their knowledge or consent. Certain medical devices designed for one-time use only are being picked from the medical waste stream and reused, despite the dangers of infection, complications, and disease. At the moment, little oversight and regulation of such recycled medical equipment exists to protect the public.

PatientGUARD is strongly urging New Jersey legislators to consider legislation dealing with the danger of recycled single-use medical devices. Join us in our efforts by signing our petition asking state lawmakers to protect our families by passing legislation creating greater government oversight of reprocessed single-use medical devices.
